![]() Having people go to the store and miss items they expected to be on their list is one of the worst case failure scenarios for us and we apologize to everyone impacted by this. However, we’re doing everything we can on our end to work towards resolving these issues. We’ve reached out to Amazon and filed bug reports about these issues, but have not yet received any response. Lists with over 100 items that are already synced with Alexa are continuing to function for now. Since the morning of August 6, we’ve been seeing delays of up to 30 minutes (and occasionally longer) for items added with Alexa to appear in AnyList.ĭue to a bug with the Alexa List Skill API, we’ve also had to temporarily prevent the Sync with Amazon Alexa switch from being enabled for lists that contain over 100 items. We’re still waiting to hear back from Amazon about the bug preventing the syncing of lists with more than 100 items. Performance has generally been restored and there should no longer be major delays when adding items with Alexa or enabling the Alexa skill. We’re still waiting to hear back from Amazon about the bug preventing the syncing of lists with more than 100 items, as well as an increase to the rate at which we can interact with Alexa lists so that we can effectively get the lists impacted by the certificate outage on Aug 4 - 5 back in sync. We’re still waiting to hear back from Amazon about an increase to the rate at which we can interact with Alexa lists, so lists impacted by the expired certificate and subsequent performance issues on August 5 - 8 have not been automatically re-synced with Alexa. They have passed it on to their engineers to investigate. ![]() □Īmazon Alexa developer support has acknowledged the bug report we filed on August 7 about an issue preventing the syncing of lists with over 100 items. Previous Status UpdatesĪmazon has resolved the bug that prevented syncing lists with over 100 items with Alexa. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. If you don’t see the Sync with Amazon Alexa switch on the list settings screen or if the Alexa row in the Settings tab in AnyList says Off, you can disable and re-enable the AnyList skill in the Alexa app and then enable the Sync with Amazon Alexa switch for each list you want to sync with Alexa. If this happens, you can cross off or delete the items in AnyList again, which will cross off or delete the items from Alexa’s copy of the list as well. Please be aware that if Alexa’s copy of the list was out of sync with AnyList, some items that you’ve recently crossed off or removed may re-appear in AnyList after re-syncing the list with Alexa. (Note: In some cases the Sync with Amazon Alexa switch for the list may have been automatically turned off as a result of the performance issues on Aug 6 - 7, in which case you can just turn it back on.) If you have a list that is missing items you’ve recently added with Alexa, you can turn the Sync with Amazon Alexa switch for the list off and back on to re-sync the list with Alexa. Thank you for your patience and, again, we apologize to everyone impacted by these issues. However, if you still have any lists that are not syncing with Alexa, please follow the troubleshooting steps below to manually re-sync those lists with Alexa. but I can't seem to find any.Amazon has resolved all recent issues with Alexa and adding items to AnyList with Amazon Alexa is fully functional again. I'm trying to find a way to unsync those 2 apps, or find another great list or to-do app. If I un-check "sync with Alexa" for that "Costco" list on Any.do (which is the only way to remove it!), it ALSO gets un-synced from Anylist!!! Say I create a "Costco" list on Anylist and click "sync with Alexa", a "Costco" list will appear on Any.do. And if I removed it, it un-synced on the first app. I soon noticed that if I synced a list on one app with Alexa, it appeared on the other app. I did NOT like Any.do for list management. I checked a few apps which have Alexa skills, my favorites were Anylist for lists, and Any.do for to-do's. ![]() My calendar has been synced through iCloud, but not my reminders, which I don't understand. but neither have Alexa skills in Canada, and Wunderlist will soon be "retired", so I might as well change. I used to use a combo of Fantastical and Wunderlist. I've been trying to figure out the best way to use Alexa for both my many lists (I have memory problems so I use lists for everything, shopping, movies to see, medications I take, etc.) and to-dos/tasks. I am a recent Alexa user, just got my first Echo as a Christmas gift, and quite happy so far (even though here in Canada we have far less options). ![]()
